Draft materials for a Project that will result from a successful Bid. The following should be present:

Project Mandate
the Business Case, including everything we have learned about the Prospect's business objectives together with the key points of our own commercial position
Acceptance Criteria
Project Brief
Project Approach
Risk Folder
Project Plan
the Prospect's quality expectations providing one basis for the Quality Plan,
an outline of the Project's organisation and the approach to reporting and control
Resourcing Agreements
(possibly) a draft Service Level Agreement If one was offered in the Proposal.

This material is all essential for the preparation of a Proposal that is commercially sound. It is also vital for reference during the negotiation of Contracts, and to provide a sound basis for the Project Executive to get things started once Contracts have been signed.

These could be separate documents, sections of the Project Plan (see the Template for the Project Plan and PID) or even, for small Projects, a few lines in the Project Plan.
