A document defining the quantifiable and/or demonstrable properties that a Project's deliverables (the Specialist Products) must have to be Accepted. Some of these properties will be common to all Deliverables, while others will be specific to particular Specialist Products.

The properties will include technical, functional, operational and quality attributes of the Specialist Products. They will have a direct impact on the planning of Acceptance Tests.

Acceptance Criteria will be derived from the End User Requirement or Customer Request (RFP/ITT), and a draft might be included in the Provisional Project Materials. A summary version of these criteria will be incorporated into the Project Brief and the Commercial Plan, while the Product Description and the Acceptance Test Plan(s) will include their full detail.
