Most Projects will need to make purchases from external Suppliers. These purchases might be for Services (including freelance consultants), for hardware for eventual delivery to the Customer, for software, for staff travel to a Customer’s site and so on. For such purchases there will be an invoice from the Supplier, requesting or confirming payment. These invoices will be sent to the Project Manager for checking and Approval and charged to a Project’s accounts by Financial Control.
