A Report for a defined period showing the financial transactions in a Project’s accounts. It usually covers a period of a calendar month. It is produced by an organisation’s Financial Control (accounting) department and is obtained by processing Project Control Data for a specific Project. Its main purpose is to provide for the Project Manager a statement of income and expenditure which he/she uses in the preparation of his/her forecasts and the Project’s Financial Status Report.
