The document(s) or other indications from a prospective End User or Customer, that define a business requirement (or possibly a Business Case), and request from an organisation a Proposal for addressing that requirement. The document may take the form of a Request for Proposal (RFP), an Invitation to Tender (ITT), a simple letter, or even a verbal or email request.
Each End User or Customer may well have a standard form of ITT or RFP, so because their potential variety is great, The Guidepost offers no templates.
