An estimate or forecast produced by a Project Manager, of the expenditure which will be incurred to complete a Project. It is the sum of what has been spent so far plus the Project Manager’s assessment of what must be spent to complete and deliver the Specialist Products, and to manage the Project while this is done. The costs include effort, purchases and Cross Charges. The forecast has a key role in the Core Subprocess Report Financial Status.
